Every year in April and October, I do my own version of spa week. As many of you know, I have been a licensed massage therapist for seven years. This year I am celebrating the second year of starting my own practice/business and being nominated for the second year in a row for the L.I Press and Bethpage Federal Credit Union's "Best of Long Island". This is the 14th annual Best of Long Island contest and I'm very thrilled to be nominated again for best massage on Long Island. So, this month, I'm offering a bunch of specials as a way of saying thank you to my truly amazing clients that have nominated me again!
Running my own practice and being a business owner has had its challenges but it is something I am proud to be doing. I have grown this business grassroots style without any financial help or investors and without outsourcing for any help with my business. I do all of my own marketing, web design, networking, sales campaigns, bookkeeping, accounting and even laundry (lol). The reward is being able to provide my clients with an exemplary level of care from taking the time to go over your health history and discuss your goals to providing a clean and comfortable environment to being able to offer specials that help save your wallet but still provide the best massage I can to alleviate your pain and stress. It's been a wonderful journey and to be nominated best massage for both years that I have been running my own practice/business really is a humbling and wonderful way of knowing that what I do matters and that I am making a positive difference in the lives of others.
